چکیده

2014 In this paper, we present non-linear magnetization measurements as a function of field at different temperatures T ~ Tg for CuMn 0.2 % and AgMn 0.5 %, alloys doped with various amounts of gold impurities in order to change the anisotropy of the systems. We show that one has to consider anisotropy as a relevant scaling parameter in order to obtain a complete coherent description of the critical behaviour of these systems. In particular we can define a set of Ising critical exponents in the range of small fields and temperatures near Tg and a set of Heisenberg exponents in the range of high fields and temperatures far from Tg. The values of the field and temperature characteristic of the occurrence of the crossover between the two regimes both increase as a function of anisotropy; this increase involves power laws from which we determine the exponents. Influence of Anisotropy on the Critical Temperature of Metallic Spin Glasses

We analyse the anisotropy dependence of the transition temperature of Q M n and &Mn spin glasses doped with Au or Pt impurities. We discuss the role of anisotropy in the phase transition of RKKY Heisenberg spin glasses. While the existence of a phase transition at finite temperature is well admitted for Ising spin glasses (SG) in 3d 111, Bray et al. 121 have shown from scaling arguments that th...

Critical phenomena of canonical spin glass systems with large Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya anisotropy

We have studied critical phenomena of spin glass transition for larger Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya anisotropy Heisenberg spin glass system, PtMn. The analysis of nonlinear magnetizations in the framework of the existence of a phase transition at Tg yields the critical exponents  = 2.5 ± 0.3,  = 1.5 ± 0.3 and  = 1 ± 0.3. These results suggest that the universality class of spin glass transition on P...

Functional-renormalization-group analysis of Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya and Heisenberg spin interactions on the kagome lattice

We investigate the effects of Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya (DM) interactions on the frustrated J1-J2 kagome-Heisenberg model using the pseudo-fermion functional-renormalization-group (PFFRG) technique. In order to treat the off-diagonal nature of DM interactions, we develop an extended PFFRG scheme. We benchmark this approach in parameter regimes that have previously been studied with other methods and...

Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya anisotropy in the spin-1/2 kagome compound ZnCu3(OH)6Cl2.

We report the determination of the Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction, the dominant magnetic anisotropy term in the kagome spin-1/2 compound ZnCu3(OH)6Cl2. Based on the analysis of the high-temperature electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra, we find its main component |Dz|=15(1) K to be perpendicular to the kagome planes. Through the temperature dependent ESR linewidth, we observe a building up of...

Dynamical Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction in KCuF3.

The spin dynamics of the prototypical quasi-one-dimensional antiferromagnetic Heisenberg spin S=1/2 chain KCuF3 is investigated by electron spin resonance spectroscopy. Our analysis shows that the peculiarities of the spin dynamics require a new dynamical form of the antisymmetric anisotropic spin-spin interaction. This dynamical Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction is related to strong oscillation...
